Nigeria records 4 new Covid-19 cases

…3 in Lagos, 1 in Oyo

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced four new cases of Covid-19. Three of the four are in Lagos, while one is in Oyo State.

This brings the total of the Covid-19 cases in Nigeria to 26.. Two have, however been discharged.

In a terse statement in its website, the NCDC said: “On the 22nd of March 2020, four new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria

“Till date, 26 cases have been confirmed, two cases have been discharged and there has been no death from COVID-19 in Nigeria”.

“Of the new cases, 3 are in Lagos State and 1 in Oyo State.

“A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities.”
