Nigeria records 239 new cases of COVID-19, total now 4151

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Saturday night announced 239 new confirmed cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 4151
The NCDC also announced that 66 recoveries and 11 deaths recorded in Nigeria all through Saturday.

According to NCDC in its official Twitter handle, “239 new cases of #COVID19; 97-Lagos, 44-Bauchi, 29-Kano, 19-Katsina, 17-Borno, 7-FCT, 6-Kwara, 5-Oyo, 3-Kaduna, 3-Sokoto, 2-Adamawa, 2-Kebbi, 2-Plateau, 2-Ogun, 1-Ekiti.

As at 11:12 pm May 9th 2020, there are 4151 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria with 745 Discharged and128 Deaths. As of May 9th 2020, 34 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Nigeria have recorded at least one confirmed case of COVID19.

“The 239 new cases of #COVID19; are reported from 15 states of; 97-Lagos, 44-Bauchi, 29-Kano, 19-Katsina, 17-Borno, 7-FCT, 6-Kwara, 5-Oyo, 3-Kaduna, 3-Sokoto, 2-Adamawa, 2-Kebbi, 2-Plateau, 2-Ogun, 1-Ekiti.

“For a breakdown of confirmed cases by States, as of 9th of May; Lagos State currenfly have 1764, FCT-343, Kano-571, Ogun-115, Osun-36, Gombe-108, Katsina-156, Borno- 159, Edo-67, Oyo-64, Kwara-28, Akwa Ibom-17, Bauchi-161, Kaduna-98, Ekiti-13, Ondo-15, Delta-17, Rivers-21, Jigawa-83, Enugu-6, Niger-6, Abia-2, Zamfara-65, Sokoto-96, Benue-2, Anambra-1, Adamawa-17, Plateau-15, Imo-3, Taraba 15, Bayelsa 5, Ebonyi 5, Kebbi 10, Nasarawa-26, Yobe 4”
