As Nigerians continue to express their views on the embattled Minister of communication, Isa Pantami, Global Peace Movement International UK said they will in few days from now come up with their position on the matter.
Mr Pantami, an Islamic cleric, has been in the eye of the storm for the past two weeks after videos resurfaced online showing he supported, over a decade ago, extremist groups like Al-Qaeda and the Taliban. Many Nigerians called for his resignation or his sack based on the statements.
Dr. Mike Uyi, President General of the group in a statement on Sunday said the group is doing its own private investigation on the matter saying he is sure the group will come up with more revelations on the matter.
“A part from our fighting corruption, we are also interested in good governance. We have deployed our team.of investigators to unearth more information that may not be available to the public”.
” In a short while, we shall make our findings known to the public in a world press conference. Nigerians in diaspora are seriously worried at the continues insecurity that has enveloped the country and are willing to support in exposing those sponsoring all manner of terrorism”.
” Global Peace Movement International UK will after it’s investigation surely tell the world what they found out”.
