Impeccable sources within the Nigeria Military confirmed to The AUTHORITY on Sunday that 13 members of Boko Haram are in their custody.
A military chief who does not want his name on print, said their arrest followed intelligence report that they flee from Borno state to Kano.
According to him, “the notorious insurgents were arrested at Hotoro on Saturday.
“The operation followed a tip off that they settled in a house at Hotoro. We have raided the buildings; and there are indications that more of them are around. The raid will be continous.”
The source added that the Boko Haram members were arrested at a Mosque in Hotoro.
When contacted, the Army Public Relations Officer in charge of 3 Mechanized Brigade, (Bukavo Barracks), Kano, Captain Njoko Irabor said his office will soon release official statement on the operation.
“Yes, I can confirm to you that our officers arrested 13 members of Boko Haram at Hotoro, Kano on Saturday. We will soon come with official statement on the operation,” he said.
