The Indigenous People of Biafra,(IPOB) has threatened a total lockdown of the South East States, if the federal government fails to release their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, from detention within the next two weeks.
IPIOB in a statement issued by the Head of Directorate of IPOB, Chika Edoziem, warned that the lockdown will commence on August 9,2021 if Kanu is not released unconditionally.
Edoziem further stated that the lockdown will commence only on Mondays till Kanu is released, pointing out that the measure is aimed at ensuring that Kanu is release hale and hearty.
“The Directorate of the Indigenous People of Biafra ,demand herewith an unconditional release of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on or before the 8th of August ,2021, failing which we shall commence a weekly lockdown of Biafra land starting on Monday 9th of August .
” For the avoidance of doubt, the total lockdown of Biafra land will take place every Monday until our leader is released unconditionally .
“This weekly lockdown is simply one of the measures we shall put in place to ensure our leader is released hale and hearty. It is completely unacceptable to IPOB to allow our leader remain in the hands of the enemy up to October, 2021.” Edoziem warned.

We will make Ipob miscreants pay the price to the full for any disturbance within Biafra Republic of south east.
Kanu was not kidnapped in Kenya and held hostage in Igboland by Igbos. Kanu was kidnapped in Kenya by fulani criminals from Guinea and held hostage in Abuja.
Ipob miscreants should go to Abuja where Kanu is held hostage and fight fulani criminals from Guinea to release Kanu.
Ipob miscreants are against democratic decision of majority Igbos for Biafra Republic of south east within Disintegrated Republics of this territory natives. Ipob which defrauded Igbos by telling them Kanu will get Biafra Republic of eastern region via secession from Nigeria and without war.
Interim governing council of Biafra Republic led by Prof. Nnaji and Dr Ifeanyi Uba as deputy must sign agreements with Russia Federation etc. of Southern Countries Union now for military assistance, cooperation, relations to defend territorial borders of Biafra Republic, fix Igboland and economies. Only the Sword decides.
