Arowona was born to the family of late Alhaji S.A Arowona, Asileke compound, Oke-Apomu in the Ilorin West local government area. The Authority gathered that as a young boy,  he came under the tutelage of a prominent Islamic scholar, Alhaji Muhammed Nasir Abdulkareem who shaped his horizon and passion for Quaranic recitation and research for Islamic knowledge where he developed uncommon passion for

erudism and insatiable quest for knowledge.

His journalism practice has witnessed a bourgeoning trajectory with enviable records

that made him to ply his trade at various media ranging from prints, electronics, and new media.

Abdulazeez is a well-respected media guru, an author, presenter, producer, a prolific writer and

above all, the founder, publisher and the chief executive officer of Royal News Newspapers, an

by His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, the Emir of Ilorin and

Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs and later became his Spokesperson till date.

The dark skinned, soft spoken, humble and philanthropist has strategically remained a defender

of traditional institutions and a consistently committed voice behind the highly referred thrones

of emirship and rulership across the length and breadth of Kwara state in particular and Northern

Nigeria in general.

Little wonder he is rewarded with the well- deserved appointment and

conferment of one of the highest traditional titles in the emirate through the gesture of Alhaji Hon. (Dr) Abubakar Sero Idris,

the emir of Okuta and Chairman Baruten Traditional Rulers Council.

Abdulazeez is one of the highly decorated recipient of many awards and member of many local
