The leadership of the Jagaban Support Group (JSG), in strategic alliance with The Progressive Institute (TPI), has announced that its proposed Two Million Youths and Women Virtual Training and Empowerment Programme has received the endorsement of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The endorsement followed a courtesy visit by the JSG/TPI leadership to the APC National Chairman, during which the initiative was presented as a grassroots mobilisation and empowerment programme aimed at supporting the party’s Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the group, the initiative is designed to promote skills development, economic empowerment, and grassroots political engagement by targeting two million youths and women across the country.
The National Coordinator of JSG2027, Otunba Arc. Abimbola Olasanmiju, described the endorsement as a significant milestone, saying it positions the JSG/TPI alliance at the forefront of grassroots mobilisation and citizen engagement.
He urged members and supporters of the group to return to their respective wards and local government areas to commence mobilisation and implementation of the programme in line with the mandate received.
Olasanmiju expressed confidence that the initiative would contribute to expanding grassroots participation and advancing the objectives of the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda in the lead-up to the 2027 elections.
