APC Congress: Appeal committee received no complaint in Zamfara- Chair

The committee set up by the national headquarters of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), to receive complaints from the aggrieved members of the party in Zamfara with regards to the concluded ward, local and state congresses, has said that it did not receive any complaint.
The appeal committee was constituted by the headquarters of the party with a view to resolving all conflict and other political problems that might come before, during and after the exercise.

Addressing a battery of journalists at the party secretariat in Gusau, capital of the state, the chairman of the committee, Alhaji Adama Hamma explained that since the day the committee arrived the state, no single person has come to lodge any complaint and that they have been waiting to receive one or two complaints in respect to the conducted congresses but nothing came to them.

Hamma who was represented by the secretary of the committee, Usman Muhammad Elebu described the situation as conducive and also called an all the APC members across the state to continue to remain one and they should also try as much as they can to exhibit similar behaviour at the party’s election be it general or replacement.

According to the chairman who also expressed happiness over what he described as successful congress that took place in peace,  also indicated that there is no political crisis in Zamfara,” because going by the way the exercise was carried out actually, we are optimistic that even next election, APC will win this state,” added the chairman.

He further stated that another indicator of unity among the party followers in the state.  ‘’as far as we are concerned and as far as the APC as a party is concerned is none response from the members particularly contestants who are expected to have brought one complaint or the other with regard to the congresses and which is also the reason why we are here in Zamfara’’.

The chairman therefore thanked all and commended the entire people of the state for their courage to come out and participate in the exercise despite the security challenges facing them .
