AUTHORITY’s South-East editor emerges Anambra NUJ chairman

The Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, Anambra State Chapter, on Friday, elected Dr Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, as its new chairman.

Odogwu, who is the South-East editor of The AUTHORITY Newspaper, emerged the new Chairman at an election held in Awka.

Other elected officials include, Mrs Ngozi Obineri, (Vice Chairman), Sir Aloysius Offodile, (Secretary), Mr Okechukwu Onuegbu, (Assistant Secretary) and Ogemdi Ozoemena, as (Treasurer).

Also elected were; John Ndu, (Financial Secretary) and Mrs Ifeyinwa Iloanya, as (Internal Auditor).

The new Chairman, Dr Emeka Odogwu is a seasoned journalist, teacher and founder of Odogwublog – a popular news and information website in Anambra State.
