Spanish police quizzes Nigerian ambassador over use of unofficial vehicle

Spanish Police have threatened to impound an unofficial vehicle used by Ademola Razak Seriki, the Nigerian Ambassador to Spain.

A source, Patrick Ulam from spain disclosed this to newsmen on Sunday.

The source said that the ambassador has abandoned his official vehicle imported his personal vehicle from Nigeria into the country.

The ambassador was said to have illegally removed an authorised plate number and fixed on his personal vehicle.

The ambassador decided not to ride his official car instead opted to import his personal car from Lagos to Madrid.

“He removed one of the Spanish foreign ministry approved number plate for Nigeria embassy registered vehicle and fixed it on his range rover Illegally without the authorisation of his host ministry.

He was stopped by the police who threaten to impound the vehicle as it has no proper documentation, “the source said.
