2023: Nigeria needs a detribalized unifier- Atiku campaigner

From Osisam Ede

National Co-coordinator, Atiku Rescue Nigeria, Hon. Aminu Bala,  has said that only a detribalized Nigerian can rescue Nigeria from the present economic and socio-political woes urging all Nigerians to look the direction of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to rescue the country and asked the former Vice-President to accept the call.
Hon. Bala made the call during a Press Luncheon in Abuja recently saying that the Country is “grasping for breath as the economic managers wobble from one policy misstep to the other, cluelessly settling on incessant borrowing as cure-all solution to the nation’s economic woes,” adding that “Nigeria today has a mountain of debts that has become unsustainable despite the posturing of our current leaders.”
Reviewing the state of the nation, the National Co-coordinator observed that, “In 2014, a bag of rice was N8, 500.00 and now it is N35, 000.00, more than the minimum wage of a Nigerian worker. The Foreign exchange was N160 to a $1 but now it is N580 to N600 to a $1, fuel pump price was N87 and now you cannot even see the fuel.”
Continuing, Bala lamented that, “Unemployment rate now is 43% which means that 43% of the populations are unemployed. Inflation rate is very high that an average Nigerian cannot afford the basic daily needs of live, among other economic indices” call for a rescuer for nation.
On the security situation in the Country, the Atiku Rescue Nigeria National Co-coordinator said that, also “In 2014, Boko Haram was restricted to North Eastern part of the country, now they expand their tentacles to the North West and North Central. Banditry, kidnappings, ritual killings, political assassination, internet fraud (Yahoo yahoo) are the order of the day.”
According to Alhaji Bala, “Nigerians can no longer sleep with their eyes closed. Farmers have abandoned their farmlands for fear of attacks; the country is in disarray and has no sense of direction.” Therefore, the country needs a Statesman, a unifier to give her the required sense of directions.
“Today, a decided Nigerian yearns for a unifier, a truly Nigerian Statesman that sees every part of the country as his own; there is no doubt that what Nigeria needs is unity more than anything else. The solution he proffered is in the Statesman Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a presidential aspirant.
“The answer to this economic journey to nowhere is only Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, a man who worked with his principal to free Nigeria from a debt overhang of over $30 billion accumulated by Nigerian over a period of time, when he was the Vice-President and Chairman of National Economic Council on Privatization between 1999 and 2007,” Bala concluded.
