Reverend Father Christogonus Chinonso Okonko of Ahiara Catholic Diocese, Imo State, has thanked God for making him a priest in His vineyard.
Reverend Okonko was speaking on May 4, 2022, during the 3rd Anniversary celebration of his priestly ordination which took place in the Diocese.
“It can only be God, who am I to be counted worthy to be ordained a priest out of many that began that journey? It is just grace, it is God’s abiding love. The devil did what it could but God in His infinite mercy said I am his chosen one, I am grateful to Him.”
Okonko also thanked all those who contributed in one way or the other to making his dream of becoming a Reverend Father a reality.
“I thank all those who contributed towards my becoming a priest, and still helping in the propagation of the word of God, I pray for God’s visitation upon their lives, and God will visit them with abundant blessings of long life and prosperity.”
