Recently, the Telecoms giant, Globacom, doled out over N750million worth of rewards for dealers in appreciation of their past supports. This to many was a master stroke strategy, not just in appreciation of their reciprocal and symbiotic business relationship, but to also solidify and concretize that mutual relationship which will further enhance future business growth and profitability to both parties, it aimed to enhance mutually beneficial partnership in the future.
With incredibly high propensity for innovation having studied Nigeria’s business environment even before coming to business, Globacom has shown its capacity to continue to dominate the telecommunications landscape for a long time.
At the Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, venue of the event, there was massive attendance by the company business associates from all over the country as well as management and staff of Globacom.
And to show his commitment to maintaining the loyalty of the company’s business partners, the chairman of the telecommunications services provider, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr, said the company will continue to appreciate its dealers who have worked assiduously to make the network the darling of subscribers across the country.
Represented on the occasion by the Retail and Consumer Sales Chief, Mr. Ken Ogujiofor, Adenuga declared special incentives package worth over N750m to buoy the company’s distribution channel. He encouraged its partners to work harder to satisfy the business goals of the mobile network operator.
Adenuga used the occasion to appreciate the dealers for their past collaborations, he also disclosed that the event was in continuation of Glo’s tradition of rewarding and upholding excellence among its treasured partners.
Mr. Viju Unnithan of Marketing Department, Globacom emphasised the company’s commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction adding that the company’s products and services were designed to add value to Glo subscribers.
Mr. Remi Makinde of Globacom’s Network Implementation Group reiterated the company’s Network Quality Enhancement plan and how it has boosted the network significantly.
The lucky business associates who were delighted at the good gesture showered encomiums on Globacom’s Board, management and staff.
Delighted at the mouth-watering prizes which came in different categories ranging from cash prizes in form of credit notes running into millions of naira, to other expensive incentives, the dealers one after the other expressed thanks to Globacom’s kind gesture.
Managing Director of Zeph Associates, Mr. Tochukwu Nwosu whose company won three top prizes among the category one dealers said: “Globacom has delighted its trade partners tonight and on behalf of my fellow dealers, we say thank you to Globacom”, while Managing Director of Yarab Integrated Limited, Alhaji Mobolaji Abdulrasaq said: “We will continue to work towards the progress of the company. Kudos to Glo.”
On his part, the CEO of Alenssar Infinity Communication Chief Edward Emeano was also not left out as he expressed satisfaction with Globacom’s style of appreciating its business partners. He said, “Globacom has shown its true appreciation of our efforts in marketing the company’s products and services and we are truly grateful.
According to the latest industry statistics released by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the operators added a total of 1.4 million subscriptions in March, which bolstered their customer database from 198.1 million recorded in February this year.
From the above leap, Globacom added 894, 565 new subscriptions to retain its position as the second-largest operator. The Telco’s active customer database rose to 55.8 million at the end of the month from 54.9 in February this year. The implication is that Globacom has a subscriber market share that is more than even population of ten African countries put together.
Since its commencement of operation in Nigeria, Globacom Limited has been intensifying efforts to give its subscribers and dealers the very best.
Globacom is the first telecom company that came up with per second billing in Nigeria when other competitors swore that it was impossible, and it has remained a truly Nigerian Telecoms company. Since the coming of Glo every day has been a bonanza for its subscribers.
