Presidential election: Tinubu wins Ekiti, leads in Ondo, Oyo, Lagos

*    Obi leads in Edo, Abia

*Atiku leading in Akwa Ibom, Osun

* Kwankwaso leads in Kano

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Bola Tinibu, winner of the presidential election in Ekiti state 

Tinibu, accordingly to the result announced Sunday by the INEC returning officer for Ekiti State presidential polls, Prof. Akeem Lasisi polled a total number of 201, 494 votes to beat his closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the PDP, who had 89, 554 votes

According to the results, Peter Obi of the Labour Party scored 11,397 votes while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigerian Peoples Party candidate garnered 264 votes.

Lasisi who is the Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila Orangun in Osun State, said Ekiti has a total of 987,923 registered voters out of which the number of accredited voters 315,058. 

He said total votes cast stood at 314,470 and total valid vote cast, 308,171 while the number of rejected votes is 6,301.

Tinubu is also  leading in Ondo State winning 11 out of 18 local government areas where results have been released.
Below are the result. Tinubu won in Irele LGA, Idanre LG, Ose LG, Owo LGA, Ondo East, Akure North, Akoko Southwest, Akoko Southeast, Ifedore LGA, Akoko Northeast, Akoko, Ondo West and  Ileoluji/Okeigbo

Results so far released by INEC at the states also indicate that the  APC presidential candidate  is also  leading in 24 local governments out of the 33 local governments in the state.

His closest rival, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has not won any local government in the announcement made so far.

Meanwhile the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, leads by a wide margin in Osun state. Atiku has won 18 local governments out of the 23 announced so far. The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, won in only five local governments.

Atiku also maintained a clear in Akwa Ibom state leading with wide margin ahead of his opponents.

The PDP presidential candidate has won in 14 out of 15 local government areas so far collated at the INEC office, leaving his labour Party counterparty, Peter Obi with onlt one Local Government Area, where the APC candidate, Bola Tinubu is yet to get any in the state.

Obi however won in Ibiono Ibom local government of the state.

Atiku won in Eastern Obollo LGA Okobo  LGA, Itu, Esit Eket, Etim Ekpo, Udong Uko, Ikono, Obot Akara, Uruefong Orukpo, Ibiono Ibom and Ibesikpo Asutang local government areas LGA, ESIT EKET LGA, ETIM EKPO LGA, UDONG UKO LGA, IKONO. LGA,

Also the Labour Party (LP) has won the presidential election in  the six  Local government Areas whose results have been  announced in Edo State.

The local government areas announced included Igueben, Esan Central with, Esan North East Egor, Esan South East,

Peter Obi, has also won the two Local Government Areas so far declared in Umuahia on Sunday  

The LGAs include: Isiala Ngwa North where he polled 24, 336; and Isuikwuato, where he scored 16,038 votes.

Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, came a distant second in Isiala Ngwa North with 5,964 votes; and 607 respectively.

Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress, APC got 742 in Isiala Ngwa North, and 472 in Isuikwuato.
