‘I Believe My Sound Will Be Accepted’–Cheesy Vibes

Chidera Victory Ogbuo, known professionally as Cheesy Vibes, was born December 6, 2000 into the family of Mr & Mrs Ogbuo in Lagos State. The Nigerian pop singer, songwriter and performer had his early life in Lagos State, Nigeria. He stated off with playing musical instrument in church and did this for several years.

During our chat with Cheesy Vibes, he stated that his lyrical prowess as praised by many is one of the several reasons why he is a promising artiste from several artiste. Cheesy Vibes, presently a student of Imo State University studying Sociology, Cheesy has at-long-last, decided to go part-time into creating music that pleases the heart of his and many.

Cheesy Vibes, who has a diverse African musical creativity, is mainly focused on Afrobeats, Dancehall, Afropop and South Africa’s Amapiano. Citing notable superstars like Davido, Phyno and Wizkid as major influences, his style of music is definitely not restricting him to a single sound.

In speaking to Cheesy Vibes, he promised us how he would be one of the most promising acts as his lyrical power stands him out of so many upcoming acts and no one would resist loving his deliveries for we the consumers.

In 2022, following the release of his single ‘History’, ‘Call Anitaa’ and ‘Our Trouble’ – both alongside Sweden-based EDM producer WAN; Cheesy’s sophomore 6-track extended play (EP) ‘Life & Fame’, released in October, portrays his background, success, as well as an anticipated rise to stardom.
