Yobe intending pilgrims begin payment for 2024 Hajj seats

The Intending Pilgrims from Yobe state have started initial deposit payment of 4.5 million naira for the 2024 Hajj exercise .

This was disclosed to The AUTHORITY by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Alh. Gana Fantami in his office in Damaturu.

He said the Commission had already started collecting the money from intending Pilgrims before final announcement by the National Hajj Commission (NAHCO).

Fantami said the payment is in progress as all intending Pilgrims are advised to hurry up in order to beat deadline for the collection .

According to him , the commission has been allocated 1,960 seats for the 2024 Hajj excercise.

Fantami explained that the allocated number of Pilgrims in Yobe will be sufficient to all intending Pilgrims hence no one will be left behind time around.

He said all preparations are in top gear to ensure a hitch-free hajj excercise even as he said Yobe has never experienced any problem during previous operations and will continue to enjoy a smooth operation
