Anambra beauty pageant rolls out empowerment programs

Miss Oluchukwu Chioma Nzomiwu who won and was recently crowned Ada Orai 2023/24 beauty pageant, has rolled out her empowerment program for Oraifite youths and children in general.

Miss Nzomiwu defeated five other contestants to emerge victorious in a keen contest on 26th December, 2023 at Civic Center Oraifite, Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State.

Ada Orai during an interactive session with journalists at the Chamber of HRH, Igwe Dr Dan Udoji said that she intends to take practical steps to ensure that the Oraifite youths and children are not left behind in the scheme of things.

She pointed out that efforts would be intensified to enhance the well-being and morals of the girl child and boy child in Oraifite.

Ada Orai said that educational/skill empowerment and sound health care delivery for the youths and children would occupy the front burner in her projects.

“I am setting up a competition among the school children and the eventual winners would get mouth watering prizes, the purpose is to ensure healthy competition among the school children.

“I also intend to look seriously into the primary and secondary health care delivery in Oraifite to see how things can be improved.” Ada Orai stressed.

“A skill acquisition and empowerment program will be organised to equip our youths with the right knowledge and tools that will salvage them from unemployment and social vices.” Ada Orai added.

Miss Nzomiwu when asked on how she intends to finance her pet projects said with relish that Oraifite is blessed with affluent personalities who would assist her actualize her dreams.
