Wike appoints new MD for Abuja Investment Company

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has approved the appointment of Dr Maureen Tamuno as the new Managing Director of Abuja Investment Company Limited, (AICL).

This is contained in a statement issued on Thursday by Anthony Ogunleye, Director of Press in the office of the minister.

The statement described Maureen as an experienced public officer, entrepreneur, and diplomat.

It said she was the Nigerian High Commissioner to Jamaica, Belize, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic.

According to the statement, her appointment takes immediate effect.

The Minister has also terminated with immediate effect, the contract of Messrs Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd for the management of the International Conference Center, Abuja.

Similarly, the minister also contracted Messrs Julius Berger Nigeria Plc to immediately take over the total
renovation of the Abuja International Conference Centre.
