Breaking: APC Celebrates Victory in Kaduna By-Elections, Says Wins Reflect Trust in Tinubu, Uba Sani

The Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has hailed its sweeping victories in Saturday’s by-elections, describing them as a clear endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and Governor Uba Sani’s inclusive style of governance.

The party congratulated Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, who won the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Isa Haruna Muhammed, winner of the Zaria Kewaye State Constituency, and Hon. Dahiru Umar-Sani, who clinched the Basawa State Constituency seat.

In a statement signed by the State Secretary, Yahaya Baba Pate, on Sunday, the APC said the victories “are not mere electoral wins but affirmations of the people’s faith in the progressive ideals of our party.”

The party noted that reclaiming the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency — considered an opposition stronghold for over 20 years — is proof of a political shift driven by Governor Uba Sani’s bridge-building leadership, which has prioritized unity, equity, and development above partisan divides.

“Governor Uba Sani’s tenure has been marked by far-reaching strides in security, rural infrastructure, and human capital development,” the statement read. “His detribalised approach has brought historically marginalized voices to the center of governance.”

The APC expressed gratitude to the electorate for what it called “overwhelming support” and assured that its newly elected lawmakers would provide transparent and responsive representation.

Looking ahead, the party pledged that both the Tinubu-led Federal Government and the Uba Sani administration would remain steadfast in delivering peace, prosperity, and inclusive growth for Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
