Arochukwu/Ohafia All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Ifeanyi Ogbonna has called on Nigerians to leverage Christmas to foster peace, love, and unity, aligning with Jesus Christ’s teachings. In his message, Ogbonna emphasized sober reflection on Nigeria’s challenges and recommitment to values driving national cohesion.
He highlighted Christ’s birth as a symbol of love, sacrifice, humility, and peace – virtues Ogbonna deemed crucial for Nigeria. “Christmas reminds us of love, unity, selflessness, and moral rectitude,” he said, urging Arochukwu and Ohafia residents to embody these teachings.
Ogbonna noted Christmas transcends religion, strengthening family bonds and celebrating life’s meaningful gifts. He urged prayers for leaders, stressing collective goodwill for national stability.
On governance, Ogbonna expressed optimism about President Tinubu’s ₦58.47 trillion 2026 budget targeting infrastructure, security, and economic growth. “Capital expenditure will stimulate investment, create jobs,” he said.
He thanked leaders like Senator Orji Kalu, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, and others for steering Abia North. Ogbonna concluded, by urging kindness to the needy, saying compassion defines Christmas’ true spirit. “Let kindness guide a happier, prosperous new year,” he said.
Recalled that Ifeanyi Ogbonna, has been promoting peace, love, and unity in line with Jesus Christ’s teachings.
