Represented by the Executive Secretary, Joint Revenue Board, Mr Olusegun Adesokan, Zacch said technology had vital role to play in the new tax laws because it would promote efficiency, transparency and accountability.

He commended the FCT-IRS for taking a decisive move to to convey a high-level stakeholders’ engagement forum to strengthen revenue administration and align with Nigeria’s sweeping fiscal reforms.

He described the engagement as both essential and timely, stressing that the ongoing reforms seek to redefine compliance, reduce revenue leakages, and strengthen tax administration.

According to him, this commitment will help to build a transparent, efficient, and collaborative tax ecosystem that will accelerate infrastructural development and economic prosperity in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
