A political associate of President Bola Tinubu, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, has been congratulated on his recent elevation to the position of Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, with supporters describing the appointment as a recognition of his years of strategic leadership and selfless service.
In a congratulatory message on Friday, Engr. Abdullahi Garba Ramat, PhD, described the appointment as “a well-deserved elevation,” noting that Masari’s leadership qualities and dedication to public service had earned him the confidence of the president.
Masari previously served as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters since 2023 before his recent elevation.
According to Ramat, the new role reflects the trust President Tinubu has in Masari’s political judgment and ability to handle complex issues.
“The recent elevation of Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari to the position of Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a moment of great pride for many of us whose lives he has touched in meaningful and lasting ways,” he said.

“Over the years, I have witnessed him help countless individuals move from very humble beginnings to meaningful positions in life. Many who once had little hope or opportunity today stand as confident and respected members of society because he believed in them.”
Ramat also described Masari as a deeply religious and trustworthy leader who values integrity and accountability.
“In the years I have known him, I have never seen him betray the trust placed in him. His integrity is strong, his confidence inspiring, and his courage admirable,” he added.
