Taraba State Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Dr. Mike Dio, has stated that the recent international award conferred on Governor Agbu Kefas was signs of good omen to the state.
Dr. Dio, who was reacting to the prestigious award while speaking with our correspondent in Jalingo on Friday, described it as deserving and coming at a time it matters most.
According to him, Governor Kefas has demonstrated a clear roadmap of administration as he assumed office three years ago and was not surprised with the Global Award coming his way.
The commissioner noted that the governor has not left Tarabans in doubt in his visionary leadership that completely changed the face of the state, prompting opposition political parties to throw their support to the current administration.
Dio attributed basic considerations attached to Global Awards to include peaceful deposition, prudent management of resources and congratulated governor kefas for leaving above board.
He encouraged Tarabans to support the recent government particularly as the 2027 general election was drawing nearer and to enable him actualize his dreams.
The commissioner appreciated the government and people of the Republic of Liberia for inclusion of Taraba first family for the Global Award.
It will be recalled that Governor Agbu Kefas was among distinguished leaders across the globe slated for the international prestigious image award organized by the National Secretariat of Organization in collaboration with Liberia Crusaders for Peace and in association, with the Government of Liberia celebrating individuals, organizations and institutions from across the world whose selfless services has advanced global peace, security, human dignity and leadership among others.
