Excitement, faith and eager expectation have gripped São Paulo as Pastor Evelyn Joshua, Leader of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN), arrived in Brazil ahead of the church’s much-anticipated two-day crusade scheduled for September 18 and 19, 2026.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua touched down at Guarulhos International Airport at about 5 p.m. local time on Monday, September 14, after departing Lagos, Nigeria.
She was warmly received by a delegation comprising community leaders from São Paulo, Osasco and other parts of the greater São Paulo State, amid cheers, music and dancing.
Speaking to the media shortly after her arrival, Pastor Evelyn Joshua expressed appreciation for the warm reception and conveyed her expectation for what she described as a significant spiritual encounter.
“The wind of glory is blowing already,” she said.
“It is going to be an encounter, a new wave of revival, healing and deliverance. The Lord Jesus Christ loves you all. He is concerned about you.
“He wants to prove Himself again in your life. Keep your faith intact and make yourself available to Him and He will transform your life.”
The SCOAN Leader is expected to lead the crusade alongside SCOAN evangelists at the Renascer Arena, Ginásio da Portuguesa, São Paulo, with activities scheduled to begin at 12 noon on both days.
Preparations for the gathering are at an advanced stage, with worshippers and visitors from across Brazil, other parts of Latin America and beyond expected to converge on São Paulo.
Residents from several cities across São Paulo State, including São Paulo, Osasco, Guarulhos, Campinas, São Bernardo do Campo, Santo André, Sorocaba, Ribeirão Preto, São José dos Campos and São José do Rio Preto, are expected to participate.
Interest has also been reported from other Brazilian states, including Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Espírito Santo and Bahia, as well as from countries such as Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Honduras. Participants from across Africa are also expected.
Speaking to Emmanuel TV ahead of the event, some residents expressed their anticipation and desire for an encounter with God during the crusade.
Pastor Jonas from Osasco described the event as a significant moment for Brazil.
“This is a big miracle for the nation of Brazil. We have great expectations. São Paulo is anxious to receive the woman of God. We cannot wait,” he said.
He added that the ministry of the late Prophet T.B. Joshua and Pastor Evelyn Joshua is “so much loved and welcome in this country.”
Another participant, Pastor Joshua Eduardo of São Paulo, said he expected the crusade to be marked by divine intervention.
“We are expecting great miracles to happen. We strongly believe that the power of God is going to heal the city,” he said.
“Wherever people are coming from, God is going to be moving here this weekend.”
Pastor Anderson from Rio de Janeiro also expressed confidence that the gathering would provide an opportunity for people to experience what he described as the manifestation of God’s glory.
“I believe that we are going to witness miracles like never before,” he said.
“I am particularly eager to witness how God can use us to manifest His glory during this crusade. Jesus is the only salvation. All we need is the presence of God in our lives through Jesus.”
According to information released by SCOAN, Prayer Line registration for the crusade runs from Monday, September 7, to Wednesday, September 16, 2026, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday to Saturday, at Igreja Apostólica Vida Nova, Rua Dr. João Inácio Teixeira, 78, São Paulo-SP.
Attendees have also been advised to come with their medical reports and any health aids they currently use.
The crusade carries a message centred on spiritual renewal, faith, hope and divine transformation, drawing on the biblical imagery of wind as an expression of the movement and presence of the Spirit of God.
For Christians and other members of the public in São Paulo and across South America, the gathering is expected to provide an atmosphere of worship, prayer and fellowship.
The event also highlights SCOAN’s continuing evangelical mandate of “changing lives, changing nations and changing the world” through the Word of God and prayer.
Those unable to travel to Brazil for the crusade will be able to follow the proceedings through live broadcasts on Emmanuel TV and SCOAN’s digital platforms.
