The recent elevation of Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari to the position of Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a moment of great pride for many of us whose lives he has touched in meaningful and lasting ways. For those of us who know him closely, this recognition is not surprising. It is a deserved acknowledgment of years of quiet sacrifice, strategic leadership, and a firm and tenacious commitment to service.
Before this elevation, he served since 2023 as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters. His new role clearly reflects the confidence President Tinubu has in his political judgment, his calm approach to complex issues, and his ability to navigate Nigeria’s dynamic political landscape with wisdom and discretion.
But titles alone do not fully explain who Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari is.
In a political space where many people seek attention and recognition, he stands out for a different reason. He is a strategist whose leadership is built on humility, sincerity, and loyalty. Personally, I can say without hesitation that I have never seen a man who lifts people the way he does. Many who once had little hope or opportunity today stand as confident and respected members of society because he believed in them.
What makes this even more remarkable is that he does this without expecting anything in return.

I consider myself one of the many people whose life he has positively influenced. Through his encouragement, guidance, and steadfast belief in people, he has opened doors that once seemed completely out of reach. His leadership has given hope to those who had none and created opportunities for people who were never expected to rise.
Beyond his political abilities, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru Masari is a deeply religious and trustworthy man. In the years I have known him, I have never seen him betray the trust placed in him. His integrity is strong, his confidence inspiring, and his courage admirable.
He is also a leader who believes in results. Whenever responsibility is placed on him, he pursues it with seriousness, focus, and a relentless commitment to delivering results — always within the bounds of the law and with respect for due process.
Despite his influence and achievements, he remains remarkably humble. He listens, he reflects, and he always seeks ways to uplift those around him.
