The Grand Patron of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, have set a target of 1.5 million to two million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the January 16, 2027 presidential election.
They announced the target on Saturday in Osogbo during the inauguration of the movement’s state and local government structures, where Tompolo donated 30 vehicles and other campaign materials for grassroots mobilisation.
Speaking through the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, Chief Kestin Pondi, Tompolo urged Osun residents to support Tinubu’s re-election, describing him as a proud son of the South-West whose reforms had improved the country’s economy and increased resources available to states.
He cited the removal of fuel queues, improved economic stability and increased state allocations, which he said had enabled governors to pay salaries and pensions and execute projects.
Tompolo urged the people to give Tinubu at least 90 per cent of votes cast in the state, saying a second term would enable the President to consolidate his reforms.
Adeleke, represented by his deputy, Kola Adewusi, said political parties and groups in Osun had put aside their differences to support Tinubu’s re-election.
He commended Tompolo for expanding the President’s campaign beyond the traditional boundaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), urging coalition partners to work together to deliver between 1.5 million and two million votes.
Similarly, Oyetola, represented by the APC governorship candidate in the 2026 Osun election, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, said support for Tinubu’s re-election was growing across party lines.
He urged the South-West to translate its political support into overwhelming votes for the President at polling units.
Earlier, the National Coordinator of the movement, Sunday Asuku, urged Osun residents to vote massively for Tinubu on January 16, 2027, arguing that the President had earned a second term through his reform policies.
