Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged the people of Nasarawa State to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027 and vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates across all elective positions.
Shettima, who spoke at the APC presidential rally in Nasarawa State, said the Federal Government and the administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule were committed to improving the welfare of the people despite the economic challenges facing the country.
He acknowledged the hardships experienced by residents, particularly difficulties associated with road transportation and the movement of agricultural produce and farm inputs.
The Vice President, however, highlighted the construction of a bypass road linking Nasarawa to Makurdi and extending to Shendam as part of the government’s efforts to address infrastructure challenges in the area.
According to him, President Tinubu is committed to doing more for the state if re-elected for a second term.
Shettima also called on the people to support Senator Ahmed Wadada for governor of Nasarawa State, urging them to maintain the APC’s presence at all levels of government.
“The main message from the President is that we vote APC from top to bottom and bottom to top,” he said.
He cautioned against voting for APC candidates in some positions while supporting other parties in others, insisting that the party needed support across the board.
The Vice President thanked the people for their support and reiterated his appeal for their votes for President Tinubu and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
