Nigerians have been called upon to embrace cryptocurrency as it remains a future viable medium of exchange.
Dr Michael Odunlade of The Billion Coin (TBC), under the aegis of Kringle Society, stated this in Abuja during an international conference on the medium of exchange.
He said, ”The way the cryptocurrency is fashioned is the future and it is already with us.
“Cryptocurrency started in 2016 and it has come to stay. There are services, activities that align with the need of cryptocurrency. We have some organisations that are already accepting cryptocurrency.
“The Billion Coin has a lot to offer Nigerians, as long as you are a billion coin holder you can make use of your cryptocurrency…
“There is a need for Nigerians to embrace the use of cryptocurrency as it is extremely helpful.”
Meanwhile the TBC has donated food items to Internally Displaced Persons ( IDPs) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Speaking during the donation of goods worth millions of naira to the IDPs in Abuja, the goodwill Ambassador of TBC, Mbhe Derick, said apart from the cryptocurrency work, the group also reaches out to the less privileged in the society.
