Oyo ‘thumbs up’ TETFund over unbiased stance in projects execution

The Oyo State Government has commended the management of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) for ensuring effective execution of its intervention projects across public higher education institutions in the country without political considerations.

Governor Seyi Makinde gave the commendation while playing host to the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro, at the Government House, Ibadan, the state capital.

In a series of tweets on his social media (Twitter) handle, @Seyimakinde, on Friday, the governor said Bogoro, who was in the state to commission some projects executed by TETFund, deserved commendation for his leadership qualityand the proficiency he has brought to bear in running the affairs of the agency.

The governor tweets : “It was a pleasure to host my brother, the Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro and stakeholders of tertiary institutions in Oyo State, to dinner at the Government House, last night.

“Professor Bogoro is on a working visit to Oyo State to commission some TETFUND projects. It is commendable that under his leadership, TETFUND is being administered for the benefit of all states in Nigeria irrespective of partisan leaning.”
