Zamfara govt gives N7million each to families of slain policemen

Seven Police officers who lost their lives recently in Zamfara were given the sum of one million Naira each by the government of the State.The officers were Inspectors Musa Lawal, Garba Audu, Steven Haya and Solomon Ampri.The rest are Donald Marcus Nura Ibrahim and Sergeant Zubairu Saidu all of Zamfara Command.Speaking to newsmen after receiving the money from government to the members of the families of the deceased heroes, the Commissioner of Police of the State, Mr Ayuba El_Kana said the decision of the government of the State to give the money was informed by the fact that they died while attempting to save some innocent people of the State from the hands of bandits to which they sacrificed their lives.It is also to assist their families that are left behind with aim of cushioning the difficulties of the children they left.Mr El Kana after thanking the government for the gesture also reiterated the the determination of the police in the State of their cont fronting against the criminals across the State until they make that it has become a crime_ free one.
