Education: Kano Govt. Approves Execution Of Seven Projects

 From Maduabuchi Nmeribeh, Kano


To ensure qualitative education under its policy of free, compulsory basic education, Kano state government  has approved the immediate execution of seven projects within the purview of the 2022 budget.

A Statement from the state Ministry of Education listed the approved projects to include: repairs and renovation works at Chedi Makera Primary School in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area.


Procurement and installation of 30Nos Desktop Computers,  6No HP Enterprise M608n Laserjet Printers, 10No Scanners, 2No Sharp Monochrome Photocopier machines, one Kord 64 Printing machine, Polar Cutting machine and  Plate maker machine for Kano Education Resource Department (KERD).


 Renovation of dilapidated structures at Buremawa Primary School in Kiru Local Government Area.
Construction of 2No VIP toilets (6 seater) at GGSS Dadin Kowa in Doguwa Local Government Area.
 Renovation of dilapidated classroom and construction of additional block at Gazan Primary School in Kiru Local Government Area.


 Construction of perimeter Wall fence, enterance gate at Normadic School in Ganduje town in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area.


Construction of 1No. Block of 4 Classrooms with 6 seater VIP toilets at Farawa in Kumbotso Local Government Area.
