Obiano: How we battled to save APGA from opposition

…Says party fought 58 court cases to save Nat. Chair, Oye

Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano has stated that the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, fought 58 cases in the court to sustain the position of the National Chairman of the party, Victor Oye.

Governor Obiano recalled that the party passed through challenging legal actions from the opposition parties before the November 6 governorship election of the state.

The Governor stated this during a meeting with the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, at his country home, Aguleri, Anambra East local government area.

He noted that the party had gone through thick and thin in the past, which had repositioned it for national challenges.

“APGA remains the strongest party with a clear manifesto. Before our governorship election, so many court cases were raised against our National Chairman, Sir Victor Oye. With the help of the NWC, APGA won all the cases.

“APGA’s National Working Committee remains the best. We have the best personalities on the committee and are experienced in many disciplines.

“Under the platform of APGA, I raised the bar and I believe the Governor-elect will sustain the bar.” Governor Obiano noted

Equally speaking, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, reassured the Governor that the members of the NWC would not desert him, but would always work collaboratively with him for the national growth of the party.

“Governor Obiano has transformed the state to a global height. The three major legacies; the airport, International Convention Center, Stadium, remain the climax of his administration.

“Our prayer is for God to reward you abundantly and promote you to a higher position in life.”
