A former governorship aspirant of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi, Eze Emmanuel, and former House of Representatives member and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Linus Okorie, as well as three other chieftains of the party, have dumped the main opposition party for the Labour Party, in the State.
The defectors which also included a former Commissioner for Education in the state, Prince Chibueze Agbo, has pitched their tent with the Labour Party, and pledged to work to actualize the presidential ambition of the LP p[residen56ial candidate, Peter Obi.
Announcing their defection to the Labour Party, the decampees said their decision was out of their believe tthat the LP has given enough reasons tpo move the state and Nigeria forward, adding that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi deserves the necessary support to enable him win the 2023 general elections and return Nigerian to its former envious position in the committee of nations
