Kano Environment Commissioner Rewards Six Staff For Outstanding Performance In November

Kano State Commissioner for Environment, Doctor Kabiru Ibrahim Getso has rewarded six staff from different departments in the Ministry for their outstanding performance in the month of November.

According to a Statement by the Director, Public Enlightenment in the Ministry, Ismail Garba Gwammaja: “The State Government has honoured the best street sweeper, tricycle rider, Skid loader driver, best Supervisor and best Private Sector Partnership (PSP) in the state for a job well done.

“Performing the function at the conference hall of the ministry, the Commissioner for environment Dr Kabiru Ibrahim Getso disclosed this during a routine monthly Sanitation exercise meeting.

“The Commissioner maintained that, this is a new dawn introduce by the ministry with a view to reward the hard working staff d motivate them to continue to do More in this direction.

“Dr.Getso says the awardees were carefully selected based on their track record of work at their various locations within the metropolis.

“While urging them to do More to ensure a safe and clean environment devoid of waste, the Commissioner maintained that the ministry deem fit to continue to fish out the best performing staff in all cadre that excel in their area to be recognized.

“Those honoured for the month of November,2022 are the best street sweeper malan sani haruna, best Skid loader driver malan Musa dahiru, best Supervisor shuaibu Mohammed umar, best tricycle rider Rabiu Idris and best PSP the Chairman Mai yadi links, Alh.Junaidu haruna respectively.

“Items presented to the awardees includes Commendation letters, Shadda brocade and Cash incentive.

“Responding on behalf of the beneficiary, the Chairman Mai yadi links Alh Junaidu Haruna, expressed their profound appreciation to the government for finding them Worthy in this direction and pledged to do more for interest of accelerated development of the state.”
