But Festus Keyamo, insisted the actions of the agents were illegal, stating that party agents can only take up results on state-by-state basis and not do what they had done.

Keyamo who threatened to “meet them in court,” insisted the law did not say what Melaye and others did.

The Director-General of the Labour Party, and the agent said INEC disappointed Nigerians and the international community and collected all the money approved for them and failed to improved technology even after reassuring they would do so.

Sen. Melaye who expressed grave anger along with former Governor Emeka Ihedioha of the PDP reminded the INEC boss that he and his National Commissioners had deceived the nation when they assured that the use of the use of IReV and BVAS to do electronic accreditation of voters and transmission of results at the polling unit level.

Melaye said: “We the party agents, having observed that the National Chairman is determined to rig the elections and having observed that there is nowhere results are uploaded on the INEC portal.

“The electoral portal has been rigged; INEC has rigged the 2023 presidential election and we know what to do next.

“They had promised us they are going to use BIVAS.

“What they are announcing now are doctored results, and we have complained to the INEC chain that we are not comfortable with what they are doing and he refused to listen to us. Why should we listen to him?

“We have no confidence in what is happening there”.
