Enugu APC crisis- Ugo Agballah is a failed chairman, says Osita Okechukwu.

From Maurice Okafor, Enugu.

The Director General, Voice of Nigeria (VON), Mr Osita Okechukwu, has described Barr Ugo Agballah, the current state chairman of the party, as to have failed in his duties, but instead of apologising to the party, he turned around to tell childish lies against the stakeholders of the party.

The VON DG, who is among the foremost and foundation members of APC in Enugu state dropped this hints in a press statement posted to THE AUTHORITY in Enugu, while reacting to his purported expulsion from the party, by Barr.Ugo Agballa.

The VON DG stressed that Ugo Agballa brought more misfortune to the party than it was before his tenure. He added that the Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma, aids Agballa in the destruction of APC in Enugu state.

Mr Okechukwu stated, “The story of my kinsman Ugo Agballah is the story of a failed chairman quarreling with himself. He came from PDP akin to a political bandit and hijacked our great party with the assistance of His Excellency, Hope Uzodinma, governor of Imo state.

The VON DG lamented that instead of building the party on assumption of office as state chairman,Chief Ugo Agballah started quarreling and chased away most stake holders of the party in Enugu state.

Okechukwu said Agballah failed woefully in the 2023 general elections, against his boasting that his lesdership will record more success far above what they scored in the past.

His words,”To fill his empty pocket,he drove all the stakeholders away and boasted he will quadruple the 56.999 votes we scored in 2019 presidential election. Regretably, he scored abysmally only 4.722 votes”.

“Instead of apologizing,I cited his CV flying around at the President elect house and APC headquarter. This is why he is telling childish lies against some of the foundation members of APC,who sold the only plot of land in Enugu during my gubernatorial election in 2011”,VON DG stated.

The Ugo Agballah led Enugu APC earlier yesterday before a group of journalists, mentioned Mr Osita Okechukwu, among the stakejolders of the psrty, expelled from the party, henceforth over alleged anti party activities.

The others include ex governor Sullivan Chime,a former Senate President,Chief Ken Nnamani,Minister of foreign affairs,Mr Geoffrey Onyeama,ex Speaker Eugene Odoh,
