Army rescue 21 pregnant women from baby factory in Abia State

Acting on credible intelligence, two infants, a boy and a girl approximately one year old, were saved from a facility suspected to be a baby factory in Isiala Ngwa, Abia State, by the Nigerian Army.

The riminsl gangs, posing as “Mma Charity Social Development and Rehabilitation Center” through a deceptive signpost, was under the management of a woman named Mrs. Charity, who is currently on the run.

An anonymous source disclosed that the pregnant women had been held against their will within the facility, and prohibited from leaving or communicating with the outdide world.

Allegations were made that the manager of the facility had been involved in illicit sale of babies to criminal syndicates for ritual purposes and child trafficking.

The rescued pregnant women, along with their children and various recovered items, were handed over to the state government for further necessary measures.

The Abia State government expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the Nigerian Army and vowed to ensure that the perpetrators face the full force of the law while reiterating its commitment to eradicating criminal activities and illegal operations from the state.

There was mention of who were responsible for impregnating the girls and if they were paid.
