The Taraba State Commissioner of Environment and Climate Change, Hajiya Aishat K. Barde has described the first 100 days of Governor Agbu Kefas as eventful.
Barde stated this after she received in audience the leadership of the National Union of Taraba State Students, NUTASS led by her President, Comrade Isaac B. Militus and the Clark of the NUTASS Senate, Comrade Christiana Benjamin.
The delegation was in her office to familiarize themselves with the Commissioner whom they’ve identified as a mother and a champion of the students cause.
Barde said Governor Kefas in the period has shown direction and boldness towards addressing the problems of the state.
The Commissioner urged the students and especially the people of the state to key into the various developmental agendas of the Kefas administration.
She expressed happiness that in 100 days, the governor has committed himself to addressing environmental challenges and climate change affecting the state.
She used the opportunity to appeal to the students to be agents of environmental protection.
The Commissioner expressed happiness over the visit and promised to support the students whenever the need arises.
