From Ifeoma Ejiofor, Awka
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Charles Soludo on Political Matters, Hon Ezekiel D. Nwokoye, says the Anambra State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Basil Ejidike is having a nightmare over the 2025 governorship election in the state.
Hon Nwokoye who was speaking with journalists in Awka, said that the APC chairman is hallucinating in a dream land when he said APC would take over Anambra State in 2025.
The SSA said with emphasis that Anambra State is a natural habitat for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and that anyone thinking of dislodging APGA in Anambra must be having a bad dream.
“Not APC or any other political party can dislodge APGA in Anambra State, Mr Basil Ejidike and his co-travelers must be banking on using the federal might to rig the 2025 guber polls but they have forgotten in a hurry that the National Leader of APC, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is thorough bred democrat who will not indulge in their wild dreams of imposition and rigging.
“Besides, Gov Charles Soludo is a beautiful bride for Ndi-Anambra because he has done beyond expectations in less than two years in office. Gov Soludo is posting a five star performance that the naysayers cannot do anything about.
“In less than two years, the Solution Agenda has ensured that five thousand teachers were employed to boost teaching and learning in Anambra State. More are still in the offing. He has empowered the health sector with the employment of four hundred health workers.
“The working governor has turned the entire state into a big construction site as over four hundred kilometers of roads have been built. The moribund water scheme in the state is about to be revitalized. The contract for water bole renovation and new ones is just been awarded. The APC chairman and his cohorts should go and verify what I said”, he asserted.
Gov Soludo is a very good brand and an Apostle of politics of development, Nwokoye stressed.
The SSA to Gov Soludo on Political Matters said that by 2025, Ndi-Anambra and residents alike would be begging the incumbent governor to continue his good works.
“You don’t use an eye piece to check time on wrist watch, Gov Charles Soludo has done so well in just a year and some months. The evil plan of Mr Basil Ejidike and his cohorts to cause tension and distraction has failed woefully,” Nwokoye declared.
