Projection of Nigeria image is sacrosanct says TMT boss

Disturbed by the negative impressions about Nigeria as a nation by some people, mostly foreign nationals, Mr. Ifeanyi Onukwubiri, the Chief Executive Officer of TMT Travels And Tours Limited, says it’s part of his organization’s social responsibilities to ensure the projection, promotion and sustenance of the country’ s corporate image.

Onukwubiri, who spoke after receiving an award of recognition for his his selfless service towards the growth of Ices Nigerian by International cake Exploration Societe Nigeria, Imo state chapter, said that as a group involved in Traveling Agency businesses, it is their commitment in ensuring integrity and transparency in all there dealings with the general public public so as to earn public trust and confidence which is a vital tool in their efforts of projecting the country’s image positively before the global communities.

He pointed out that though the international business communities might have trust issues with some Nigerian companies and operators, the more Nigerian based firms continue to excellently deliver services, the more the image of the country will continue to get better, internationally and otherwise.

The business icon further assured that the development would improve Nigeria’s chances of an improved trade exchange and investment derivations.

According to him, “let me thank ICES Nigeria for this honor. For us at the TMT Travels And Tours Limited, our goal is to continuously project our dear country positively before our international business partners and indigenous customers.

” When a foreigner does business with an indigenous firm and the confidence and trust is maintained , the implication is that he will present the country in positive light before his colleagues and friends.
