Kogi: APC Boosts Grassroots Presence with New Mini Secretariat in Adavi

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adavi Local Government Area has reiterated its strong support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration and the party’s leadership in Kogi State.

This commitment was underscored by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Honourable Ismaila Isah, during the groundbreaking ceremony for a Mini APC Secretariat at Inorere, Ogaminana Central Ward, Adavi Local Government Areas over the weekend.

Speaking at the event, Honourable Isah highlighted that the new facility will serve as a central hub for party activities, enhancing accessibility and engagement among APC members in the ward.

According to him, the initiative is designed to strengthen political mobilization, improve party administration, and deepen grassroots participation.

“This project aligns with Governor Ododo’s vision of bringing governance closer to the people, ensuring greater political involvement, and solidifying the party’s presence across communities in the state,” he said.

He assured attendees that the project would be completed swiftly, thanks to the backing of Governor Ododo and key party leaders from Ogaminana Central Ward and Adavi LGA.

Also speaking at the event, APC Chairman in Adavi, Honourable Oyibo Barnabas, described the project as a significant step in reinforcing the party’s grassroots structure.

He praised Governor Ododo’s dedication to inclusive governance and commended the leadership’s efforts to enhance political participation at the local level.

Similarly, the Councilor representing Ogaminana Central Ward, Suberu Ahuoiza Khadijat, expressed optimism about the project’s impact, noting that it would foster unity among party members and encourage greater political engagement.

She also lauded the governor’s leadership style and applauded Honourable Ismaila Isah for his commitment to the party’s progress in the ward.

The event drew a large gathering of APC supporters, community elders, and political leaders, who welcomed the development as a crucial step in expanding the party’s reach and mobilizing new members.
