Members of the christian youths mobilization front(CYMF) in Bauchi state, have endorsed the candidacy of all APM aspirants, with Governor Bala Mohammed leading, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The CYMF members gathered from across the state at E4 Resort, Yelwa, in Bauchi, for a solidarity rally, where they, unanimously declared their support for all the candidates, assuring to embark on door-to-door campaign to mobilize voters for the general elections.
Speaking at the rally, Chairman of the front, Mr. Andy Nature, described the day as one in which the citizens are bound by a common dream of peace, unity and prosperity of the state, over and above being politicians, party supporters or from different communities.
“After extensive consultations among christian youths, church leaders, community stakeholders, and supporters across our constituencies, we have resolved to publicly declare our support for the candidates of Allied People’s Movement (APM),” he stated.
Andy Bature who said that the group endorse the Governor for the Bauchi South Senatorial District seat stated that true leadership is measured not by promises but by performance, not by words but by results.
“His visionary leadership has delivered unprecedented investments in infrastructure, agriculture, education, healthcare, youths and women empowerment, and human capital development, across the state,” he explained.
The group’s chairman added that, “His commitment to inclusiveness, good governance, and the welfare of the people has transformed lives and inspired hopes for a brighter future. Undoubtedly, his record speaks louder than any campaign promises”.
He also said that the front endorse Dr. Yakubu Adamu, as the gubernatorial candidate of the APM, alongside his running mate, Mahmood Babamaji, based on conviction, not convenience, on competence, not sentiment.
“We believe that Dr. Yakubu Adamu represents a new generation of purposeful leadership anchored on knowledge integrity and innovation, and a deep understanding of the challenges facing the state. His academic accomplishments, professional experience and commitment to public service have prepared him to provide the visionary leadership required to unlock the vast potential of our state,” he stated.
Mr. Bature said the front sees his running mate, Mahmood Babamaji, as a dependable partner whose grassroots connection, administrative experience and passion for community development complement the vision and strenghten the ticket.
He extended the hands of friendship and partnership of the front to those of other faith, as according to him, the future of the state cannot be built by one faith alone, but with collective effort to enthrone peace, progress, and prosperity.
Also speaking, women leader of CYMF, Abigail James, who said that women have a very important role to play in electoral processes, assured that they will carry out house-to-house mobilization campaigns for the APM and all the candidates.
Also, youths leader of the front, Aaron Magaji, who assured of the support of the youths, added that they will work to ensure a hitch-free electioneering campaigns and not allow themselves be used to disrupt the processes.
