The Renewed Hope Ambassadors have congratulated Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on his landslide victory in the 2026 Ekiti State Governorship Election 2026, describing the outcome as a strong endorsement of his leadership and development agenda.
In a statement signed by Tunde Rahman, Director of Media and Publicity, the group praised the peaceful, transparent and well-attended conduct of Saturday’s poll, commending the people of Ekiti State for their civic participation.
The group also congratulated the South-West Zonal Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors and Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Dayo Adeyeye, alongside the Ekiti State Coordinator and the 16 local government coordinators for their roles in securing victory for the All Progressives Congress.
According to the statement, the election result reflects the confidence of Ekiti residents in Governor Oyebanji’s Shared Prosperity Agenda and its alignment with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision for the country.
The group also commended President Tinubu for what it described as bold reforms and policies that created an enabling environment for the victory. It further praised key leaders of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, including Director-General and Hope Uzodimma, Deputy Director-General and Uba Sani, as well as Secretary and Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, for their contributions to the APC’s success.
Looking ahead, the organisation said its focus would shift to the upcoming Osun State Governorship Election 2026 scheduled for August 15, while continuing efforts to promote the policies and achievements of President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group noted that Governor Oyebanji’s first term recorded visible progress in infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, healthcare and education, adding that his re-election represents both an endorsement of past performance and a mandate to do more.
The Renewed Hope Ambassadors reaffirmed their commitment to mobilising support for policies aimed at deepening development in Ekiti and across Nigeria, while urging the governor to remain inclusive and magnanimous in victory as he begins a new term.
