Ten Nigerian startups are targeting international investment and business partnerships as they prepare to take homegrown technologies to Singapore, seeking opportunities to enter the Asia-Pacific market.
The startups, selected under the NIMENA programme, will present their solutions at the APAC Summit 2026 on October 30, showcasing innovations across financial technology, agriculture, healthcare, logistics, education, security and digital media.
Announced by Plug and Play APAC, the initiative aims to connect the founders with businesses, investors and technology partners across the region, creating opportunities for cross-border collaboration and commercial expansion.
The participating companies are Dojah, led by Oluwatobiloba Ololade; Sorair Technologies, led by Kunmi Oludoyi; Happaning, founded by Andrew ‘Ando’ Eniwumide; HealthStack, led by Dr Simpa Dania; i-Purvey, co-founded by Abdul Isiaq; Shipbubble, co-founded by Ayodeji Abon; Crop2Cash, co-founded by Seyi Alabi; Youverify, represented by Hakeem Akiode; TradeBuza, co-founded by Nonso Eze; and BeGenio Tech, founded by Dr Grace Togun Olugbodi.
Some of the startups are tackling challenges in financial access and international trade. Dojah and Youverify provide identity verification and compliance solutions, while Crop2Cash helps smallholder farmers build financial identities to access credit. TradeBuza connects African agricultural producers with international markets.
Others are developing technology for logistics, security and industrial operations. i-Purvey works on anticipating disruptions in aviation and maritime operations, Shipbubble simplifies deliveries for online merchants, while Sorair deploys automated drone and camera systems to monitor industrial facilities.
In healthcare and education, HealthStack focuses on digital health systems, while BeGenio Tech uses game-based learning to improve children’s mathematics skills. Happaning offers viewers the ability to choose camera angles during live events, creating a more interactive viewing experience.
The Singapore engagement will provide an opportunity for the companies to test the commercial appeal of their solutions beyond Africa. Their ability to secure local partners, meet regulatory requirements and demonstrate their products’ value will be critical to establishing a foothold in the region.
The APAC Summit 2026 is expected to bring the founders into contact with prospective investors, businesses and technology partners as they explore expansion into Southeast Asia, with the broader goal of taking Nigerian-built solutions into new international markets.
