The All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Cross River Central, Hon. Oden Ewa, has appointed Prince Ebuta Ojong Ayuk as Chairman of his Senatorial Campaign Council, Dr. Martins Bisong as Director General and Barr. Mkpang Obeten Ewa as Secretary.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, are part of efforts to strengthen the campaign’s leadership structure, enhance grassroots mobilisation and ensure effective coordination of activities across the six Local Government Areas of Cross River Central Senatorial District.
In announcing the appointments, Ewa congratulated the appointees and expressed confidence in their leadership abilities, experience and capacity to deliver on the responsibilities entrusted to them.
He charged them to discharge their duties with dedication, integrity and a strong sense of purpose, while promoting unity and inclusiveness among party stakeholders.
The APC candidate expressed optimism that the collective experience and leadership capacity of the newly appointed officials would provide the strategic direction and momentum required to drive a successful campaign.
He said the appointments were also aimed at building a formidable political structure capable of mobilising support across the district towards achieving purposeful representation.
The campaign, which adopts the slogan, A New Dawn for Our People. Our Time Is Now, is expected to intensify its engagement with party members, stakeholders and grassroots supporters ahead of the 2027 general elections.
