…Says label is set to match global competition
IJ Music record label boss, Henry Chekwube Okafor, better known as Ike Jerusalem, has hinted that his label would be unveiling a new artiste soon.
Ike Jerusalem revealed this in a telephone chat made available to journalists in Abuja.
Recall that IJ Music was unveiled last month, alongside its pioneer signee and musical Artiste, 8th Wonda, whose debut single ‘Finally’ has been enjoying massive streams across musical platforms.
The Lagos-based music Executive said his label is committed and ready to fish out talents and ensure they compete globally.
He said, “IJ Music started out well and has created a working structure that will project the record label and its artistes for global recognition, irrespective of how competitive the industry seems to be.
“We have another amazing artist to be unveiled. Just stay tuned.”
Sharing his motivation for establishing IJ Music, the UN Global Peace Ambassador said “there are many helpless talents out there that need resources in order to get to their limelight.”
“In IJ Music, we provide all possible resources and professionals needed to create good music.
“IJ Music is Ready,” he further assured.
Ike Jerusalem, who believes there are no boundaries to good music irrespective of the genre, added that creativity and intelligence are part of what he looks out for in signing new artistes.
“Generally there are a lot of things to consider before sealing it up with an artist,” he noted.
