A woman, Helen Tracey Uma, has issued a public apology to members of the Edzuwah family, retracting earlier statements she made against them and admitting that the allegations were false.
In the apology dated July 28, 2026, Uma addressed Mrs. Nguevese Evelyn Edzuwah Akoso, Mr. Victor Edzuwah, Mr. Agema Tyam, Mrs. Eucharia Edzuwah Achibong, Mrs. Pauline Edzuwah Suswam (Paula Manson), as well as the entire Edzuwah family.
She acknowledged that her previous social media posts and statements were made in anger and frustration and expressed regret over the consequences of her actions.
“My posts and statements made against you and your family were false and written out of frustration and anger from my path. I regret the hurt, embarrassment, and damage that my words may have caused you,” she said.
Uma said that she never intended to tarnish the family’s reputation or subject them to public ridicule.
“I take full responsibility for my actions. I did not intend to defame or cause public ridicule, and I am truly sorry for dragging you and the entire Edzuwah family name publicly especially on social media,” she stated.
She appealed for forgiveness and pledged not to publish any further false statements against the family.
“I ask for your forgiveness, and I promise to not to write any false publications/posts against you nor the Edzuwah family again. I shall handle issues privately with maturity going forward,” Uma added.
