Tributes As NAN Correspondent Burries Father-in-law In Benue

Father in-law of a Senior Correspondent with the News Agency of Nigeria(NAN), in Benue State Late Francis Anongo Ityav was at the weekend intered amidst glowing tributes by friend and relatives.

The AUTHORITY gathered that the late Ityav who passed on at the age of 67 after a protracted illness was a retired Director with the Benue State Ministry of Education and Father In-law to Mr Nicholas Dechi of NAN.

Parish Priest of saint Anna’s, Pan, Mbaade- Mbakuha in Ushongo Local Government Area of Benue State, Rev. Father Dennis Korayom, in a requem service admonished Christians to at all times endevour to imbibe Godly virtures so they will be re- united with him upon their call.

Father korayom who discribed the late Ityav as a comsumate community leader and a devout christian who while alife contributed immensly to the development of his community and mankind, admonished that such virtures be emulated by others.

Mr. Dechi in his tribute said the Late Ityav was not just a father in – law but an epitome of encouragement to his family.

He added that the deceased impacted his life positively in many spheres, saying he was going to be missed dearly.

This medium gathered that among those who sent in messages of condolence to the NAN Senior correspondent on the death of his father in- law included , Mr Daniel Agbo, of The Blueprint Newspaper, Demian Daga, of the Voice Newspapers and BSU FM 89.9’s news Editor, Mr. Chiangi Avese.

Others were Hon. Emmanuel Kyoga, Edmond Igbudu, Terkura Akemase and Austine Tule of the Authority Newspapers among others.
