Looters should not be allowed to move freely, says Zamfara APGA chieftain

From Salisu Zakari Maradun, Gusau

Former gubernatorial candidate under the umbrella of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), in Zamfara State, Alhaji Dani Abdullahi, has called on the Federal Government to deal ruthlessly with anybody tampering with its move to bringing peace in the country.

It should also not allow treasury looters to go free without compelling them to bring back the money they stole while in power.

The APGA chieftain made the revelation at his residence in Gusau, the State capital.

Dani who was particularly referring to the former governor of the State, Alhaji Abdul Aziz Yari, and.whose administration has been accused of embezzling public fund running into billions, said leaders like Yari should not be allowed to have free movement when it dawned on everybody that they cornered public money.

According to him, all the claims by the former governor of making efforts to addressing insecurity in the State we’re false ones as nothing changed throughout right years in power.

He further stated that the ex-governor only capitalized on the insecurity to rob the State of it’s funds, but the result of his claims is zero.

Dani commented further that if people like Joshua Dariye and Jolly Nyame could be jailed, who are even more powerful and stronger than Yari, there is no reason why he should not face the same wrath of law they faced.
