FCT Water Board seeks more support from customers

The FCT Water Board has sought for more support from customers in the territory to boost service delivery and revenue generation.

Acting General Manager of the board, Dem Joy Okoro stated this during interaction with residents of Utako and Jabi over the weekend.

She called on the customers to ensure that they pay their water bills at as when due, saying the board has started producing bills every month.

In her words, “the board produces bill monthly, therefore we urge all our customers to assist us by paying the bill anytime new one comes.

“With the frequent payment we will generate more revenue for the board. The FCT minister has committed enough resources into water scheme, and people should help in playing their roles”

On the equipment, he appealed to residents at all levels especially those in areas that there is steady water supply to protect the facilities.

“Let us protect water facilities in FCT, government can’t do it alone, so we have to all work as a family to continue to enjoy water” she said.

Some customers who spoke at the event, Aminu Musa and others urged the board not to delay in fixing new pipes in a location when they are call upon.

They also asked the board to fast track means of bills payment and how best to resolve challenges if they arise.
